(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On 24 September 2011 , Saudi Wahhabi authorities dispersed dozens of Shia protesters including women gathered in the front of the office of the Eastern Province Emirate in Dammam .
The protesters demanded the release and holding fair trials for nine "forgotten" detainees suspected of involvement in attacks against a US military installation in Khobar in 1996, which killed 19.
Security forces used violence to disperse the protest and arrested three women and four men .
The men were transferred to the General Intelligence Prison in Dammam , but the women are being held in the Dammam women's prison.
Among the detainees : Mohammad Abdul Mohsen al-Nemir , 19 years old ; Mohammad Ahmad 'Ayesh al-Nemir , 19 years old ; Taqi Ahmad ; Kadhem Abdul Kareem al-Nemir ; Ali Abdul Kareem al-Nemir 19 years old ; Fatimah Abdul Kareem al-Nemir , and Fatimah al-Sulaiman , the wife of the prisoner Fadhel al-Alawi .
